Meet Dracula! The Joker watch by Konstantin Chaykin shows its fangs – that’s something worth seeing. When night falls, the Dracula watch reveals a remarkable ability it was born with: the ability to transform. In daylight, its fangs are cleverly camouflaged. As a result, the watch is barely distinguishable from the imaginary (yet to be created by Konstantin Chaykin), imposing Joker with a blackened stainless-steel case and face-like dial.

At night, however, the expressive, ever-changing and yet always familiar Joker face is transformed. As if to celebrate nightfall, when, according to Halloween traditions, the most mysterious, terrifying and bloody events take place, the fangs of the Dracula watch are revealed. Shortly before midnight, just like in the legend, the fangs begin to grow. At 01.00 they are fully extended, at 03:40 they begin to retract and at 05:30 they are completely hidden.

Due to the unique ‘Dracula time’ function invented by Konstantin Chaykin, the Joker-indication module of a Dracula watch is much more complicated than that of the original Joker and consists of 16 more parts, bringing the total number of components in the movement to 77. The dial of the Dracula watch is also more difficult to assemble and consists of twice as many parts as that of the Joker.

Another first for the Wristmons collection is the sapphire exhibition caseback, which reveals the ‘mysterious’ full-disc rotor that Konstantin Chaykin designed especially for this watch. Enjoy the unique ‘mysterious’ Halloween design with the outline of a menacing bat’s wing.

Especially for the Joker and other models of the Wristmons collection Konstantin Chaykin developed a double-disc display for the hour and minute indications, as well as a moonphase indicator. In the construction and design of the movement, he was guided by the principles of haute horlogerie, despite the fact that the movement is hidden under an opaque dial. Konstantin Chaykin meticulously finished every part of the movement using classic techniques: perlage; fine longitudinal and circular grinding; sandblasting; hand-polished chamfers; engraving; polished screw, pin and jewel recesses; ball polishing of the pivots; and rhodium plating. In total the module includes 8 jewels, designed to reduce friction, while the moonphase indicator is driven by a wheel with 59 teeth.
