Aquaracer

The TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph, reference WBP1184.BF0008, is a light-powered diver's watch built almost entirely in titanium. It suits someone who wants a sports watch that stays light on the wrist and asks very little in the way of upkeep.

Both the 40 mm case and the matching bracelet are sand-blasted grade 2 titanium with a soft, silver-toned matte finish. A black sunray brushed dial carries applied rhodium-plated indexes coated in Super-LumiNova, and a central hand lacquered in polar blue stands out clearly against it. Around the dial turns a unidirectional bezel in grade 5 titanium whose riders are sunray brushed. Thanks to an interchangeable system, the bracelet can be swapped for another strap without fuss.

Inside sits the Solargraph Calibre TH50-00, a quartz movement that draws its energy from daylight as well as indoor lighting. Once fully charged, it runs for up to 10 months, while a short spell in the light gives a full day of running. Its battery is designed to last up to 15 years. With 200 metres of water resistance, the watch is ready for swimming and snorkelling.
